ARTYPOLIS

+ The title: Polis is Greek for city and the site features art...Arty+Polis=Artypolis. Sub-title for the site is 'City Of Performing Artists', got the idea from the ep 'Athens City Academy Of Performing Bards'

+ The site: It's my artcontest site, launched January 10 2004. It has all sorts of challenges that artists can participate in to show their talent.

+ Past layouts:
-- Version 8.0 is called 'Warrior Rising'. I thought it was time for a Gabrielle layout again. Although I like 'classic Gabby' more, I was looking for some nice pictures and I just fell in love with that horsey! Thought I'd do a 'tough Gabby' layout. I was also looking for a different style and a calm colourscheme. This layout was uploaded April 5 2007.

-- Version 7.0 was called 'Printed'. I loooove this picture. I've never used a comic image before, but there's a first for everything :-) Very simple layout this time, but I love it. This layout was uploaded September 16 2006 and lasted until April 5 2007.

-- Version 6.0 was called 'Everywhere'. I made the layout of a wallpaper I made. I used part of the lyrics of a sweet song by Dutch singer Ilse de Lange (song: Everywhere). Pretty in pink with a high fairy floss look and feel, but I thought it just really fit :-). This layout lasted from November 19 2005 until September 16 2006.

-- Version 5.0 was called 'Paradise' after the episode 'Paradise Found'. Again a Gabrielle layout :-) The layout was uploaded May 15 2005 and lasted until November 19 2005.

-- Version 4.0 'Summer Gabby' lasted from July 31 2004 until May 15 2005. I liked the sunny feel to it :-)

-- Version 3.0 was called 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'. It lasted from May 20 until July 31 2004. I created the wallpaper for one of the XWPC challenges.

-- Version 2.0 'A Day In The Life' was up from February 21 until May 20 2004. Funny episode!

-- Version 1.0 lasted from January 10 until February 21 2004. The lay wasn't too great and the coding sucked.
